What Is Patent Bet ?

The term ‘patent bet’ is a bet that comprises of seven stakes, which includes three solo bets, three dual bets, and a treble bet, and is also known as a full-coverage multiple bets. Firstly, a single bet is a bet that is individually placed on a total of one result, while a double bet is a bet, is one which a player makes on the outcome of two totals of results. Treble bets, on the other hand, are bets a player places on the outcome of a total of three results. The psychology here is that the player deals with all the results of winning.

Patent Bet Explained

A practical illustration of a patent bet on a variety of soccer games is:
A single bet on Liverpool’s chance of winning; a single bet on Manchester United’s chance of winning, a single bet on Hull City’s chance of winning.
A dual bet on Liverpool and Manchester United winning; a dual bet on Liverpool and Hull City winning; a dual bet on Hull City and Manchester United winning.

A treble bet on Manchester United, Hull City, and Liverpool winning.
For instance, if Liverpool loses or draws the match, while the other two teams win, then the bettor will win three of the bets. Yet, the player will continue to earn more as the number of bets increases.

However, the good thing about a patent bet is that even if only one bet is successful, the bettor will still be able to proceed.
Many people can’t differentiate between ‘Patent bets’ and ‘Trixie bets’. The similarity between these two forms of bets is that they both have three selections. But, the differences between them is that a ‘Trixie bet’ is made up of four bets; three duals and a treble, while a ‘Patent bet’ consists of seven, and a ‘Trixie bet’ does not offer full coverage compared to the ‘Patent bet’. However, the probability is somewhat higher than that of a ‘Patent bet’.

For instance, when a player places money on a patent bet, he or she has to be conscious of how much he has to put down. Thus, to bet a total of $7, he has to drop $1 as his stake that will add $1 on each of the seven bets. Thus, a player that drops $7 will stake a total of $49.
