The big mobile eSports event starts on Friday, July 26th and runs the whole weekend until Sunday, July 28th. And after months of regional qualification, the 16 teams for the Club Open 2019 Global Finals have now been selected.

Among them are five teams that secured their place in the PMCO Prelims last weekend.

After the 12 matches in the two days of PMCO Prelims, Team Purple Mood, XQF, Team Queso, Top Esports, and All Rejection Gaming had to struggle through 12 games in two days.

After starting their work, they will meet the other qualifiers next weekend.

One of the PUBG Club Open teams that made it to the finals will be the PUBG Club Open:

The highlights of this last eSports event can be seen below with the kind permission of Tencent: Team XQF from China showed a very strong performance on the first day. They could celebrate three chicken evenings in the six games, and the remaining 15 teams stayed behind with a total of 181 points.

The Thai team Purple Mood took second place with 148 points, followed by the NOVA Monster Shield from Taipei, China, and the Japan Squad All Rejection Gaming. The four Asian teams led the first day’s ranking.

In the first game of the second day, Team XQF were eliminated directly after jumping into the same building with two other teams and finished 16th with a score of almost zero.

Meanwhile, Purple Mood has managed to take the chicken dinner and maintain her strong performance by turning the tables around and finishing first in the standings at the end of day two.

The Argentinian team Queso surprised everyone with their strategic game principle and their stable performance and finished third.

In the final circle of the last game, there was only one player left for each team of Indian Tigers, XQF and Top Esports. Paraboy of XQF started the fight but was stopped by Top Esports.

Go, Prince, go, Prince … “The Indian audience flooded the chat and cheered their last standing man; Prince managed to get the kill and chicken dinner and earn hearts from viewers. Unfortunately, they could not make it into the top 5 with a minimum lead of 10 points. Team Queso and All Rejection Gaming players embraced tears as they rejoiced to make it into GLOBAL FINALS finally.”

The PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Global Finals will be held live at the Estrel Congress Center in Berlin from Friday, July 26th to Sunday, July 28th.
