The FIFA eWorld Cup has been held annually since 2004.
32 players who have qualified from over 20 million participants via the Global Series are competing for the biggest title in virtual football and an incredible 500,000 dollars in prize money. Interested parties can follow the competition live from 2nd to 4th August.
250,000 dollars and the title of world champion await the winner of this year’s FIFA eWorld Cup; the title of vice world champion is still worth 100,000 dollars. 32 players from different nations are currently fighting for the title in London.
The finalists, who have qualified via the Global Series, will fight in four groups of eight players each for promotion to the top 16. The winner of each match pair in this round can look forward to their entry into the quarter-finals and play for their place in the semi-finals. The winners will then fight for the big title and the generous prize money.
Last year, Mosaad ‘Msdossary’ Aldossary of Saudi Arabia crowned himself a champion, with over 29 million people around the world watching.
